Skip if you need it to work
This is one of the apps supported by Virgin Pulse, the engagement program for employers to support employee health, incentivized by premium discounts for points earned for exercise. This app is one used to record exercise for those points.
The good thing about the IDEA of this app is that it runs in the background, captures your movement and automagically categorizes it for you. That would be great.
In actuality, IF it saw me do anything at all (which many times it did not), it recorded it inaccurately or miscategorized it (one bike ride on steep hills thought I was switching between walking, running and riding every 2 or 3 minutes for the entire ride).
Because of the financial rewards for accurate reporting I cannot use this app and cannot, in good conscience, recommend it to anyone else.
It also has no method for recording indoor activities like stationary bike, treadmill, HIIT or weight training.
I should give his app ONE star for how poorly it performed (and I set every recommended setting, background app refresh, etc., including opening the app before I started an activity, which you are not supposed to have to do) but the idea is great. Its just a trash implementation of that idea, in my experience.
